Le stazioni del servizio di radioamatore che usano le frequenze nella banda 135,7-137,8 kHz non devono superare la potenza irradiata massima di 1 W (EIRP), e non devono causare interferenze dannose per le stazioni radio al servizio della navigazione, che operano nei paesi in cui No. 5.67. (WRC-07) (Cavtat 2008).
L'utilizzo della banda 135,7-137,8 kHz in Algeria, Egitto, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Iraq, Libia, Libano, Siria, Sudan e Tunisia è limitata ai servizi fissi e mobili marittimi.
I servizi dilettantistici non devono usare, nei paesi di cui sopra la banda 135,7-137,8 kHz (WRC-07)(Cavtat 2008).
